The Surprising Health Benefits Of Himalayan Pink Salt

Find more on: - Nutrition Coaching

In our society we are often bombarded with misleading information to avoid salt at all costs.

But is that really a good advice?

Turn out it isn’t… Keep reading to know why.

Is salt beneficial or detrimental?

Traditional doctors affirm that reducing the amount of salt reduces blood pressure and consequently the risk of heart attack.

In other words, salt was declared unnecessary and evil in 1980s.

But food industries still needed tasty food to keep their earnings high so they increased artificial flavorings in the food which is far worse than salt.

Do you want to know the real truth?

Salt is what keeps us alive, we couldn’t live without it.

This demonization could happen only in a society that is ignorant of the history of salt.

In ancient times, salt was considered the gift from the Gods. Omer referred to it as a divine substance.

Today, western people consume about half the amount of salt that they consumed traditionally.

Because back then, salt was not only used to make food tasty, it was also used to preserve food for storage and transport.

The major health organizations reduced the recommended salt intake to 3.5 grams per day. This is shocking because we need about 6 grams a day.

They give us tons of processed food full of processed salt and flavorings and we don’t eat healthy salt anymore.

This is really bad for our health. And the solution would be easy: just eat real, natural food.

Interestingly enough the Japanese who have one of the highest intake of salt in the world also have one of the highest life expectancies.

“Salt is essential for life – you cannot live without it. However, most people simply don't realize that there are enormous differences between the refined table and salt and holistic natural salt. – Dr. Mercola

“Himalayan salt is one of the purest salts you can find. It’s even typically mined by hand. On the other hand, table salt involves a great deal of unnatural interference. It is very heavily processed, eliminating its minerals.” – Dr. Axe

“Sodium is an energy carrier. It is also responsible for sending messages from the brain to muscles through the nervous system so that muscles move on command. Therefore, without sodium, you would never be able to move any part of your body.” – Dr. Sircus

Natural vs Processed Salt

Salt is essential for life – we cannot live without it.

However, because we are bombarded with misleading information, most people simply don’t realize that there are huge differences between the table salt most of us use and natural health-promoting salt.

And these differences have a major impact on your body. Indeed, if you want your body to function properly, you need holistic salt complete with all-natural elements.

Today’s common table salt is completely different from natural salt. It is a commercial salt that has been “purified”, it has been chemically cleaned.

It’s “purification” process involves recrystallization of the salt at a very high temperature. This process alters the natural structure of the crystals.

Table salt is actually 97.5% sodium chloride and 2.5% chemical garbage, such as moisture absorbents, and iodine.

It is also important to understand that iodized salt contains iodine just because it has been artificially added in.

So the typical table salt that we use today has absolutely nothing in common with the natural salt that has been used for centuries.

And that’s the reason why we are not healthy anymore.

Not because salt is bad. In fact, it’s vital.

But everything is processed and filled with chemical garbage. So always use unrefined salt if you want to stay healthy.

The purest salt on Earth

The Himalayan Pink Salt is by far the purest salt available on earth and is uncontaminated with toxins or pollutants.

The many hues of pink, red and white are an indication that this salt contains a large number of minerals.

Indeed, pink salt is 85% sodium chloride and the remaining 15% is composed of other 83 essential minerals.

Also, it is important to highlight that iodine is a natural part of this salt so it doesn’t need to be artificially added in.

Pink Salt is found naturally deep within the pristine Himalayan Mountains. It was formed about 250 millions years ago when ancient sea salt beds were covered with lava.

The salt has been kept in a pristine environment because it was surrounded by snow and ice. Also the lava is thought to have protected it from pollution and toxins.

This leads to the belief that Himalayan pink salt is the purest salt to be found on earth.

Benefits of pink salt

Himalayan salt contains the same 84 trace minerals that are found in the human body and that’s the reason why, by consuming it, you can expect the following benefits:

  • Regulates and maintains our blood pressure;
  • Create an electrolyte balance so regulates water content both inside and outside of cells;
  • Increases hydration;
  • It’s good for the nervous system: chloride is essential for the growth of our brain, the development of neurological functions. Aids creative thinking and long term planning;
  • Improves metabolism and digestion: it helps the intestines to absorb nutrients;
  • Balances pH (alkaline/acidity) and helps to reduce acid reflux;
  • Improves adrenal function: the adrenal glands are responsible for the release and regulation of about 50 of our body hormones. When you crave salt is a sign of poor adrenal function;
  • Improves thyroid function;
  • Helps detoxifying the body of toxins and heavy metals.

How To Help Yourself Break Free From Alcohol Abuse & Junk Food Addiction

See more on:

What we put in our body really matters.

You may be fooled by the food industry to think that junk food is not going to affect your health that much.

But think twice. You can heal your body with nutrition.

We are not deficient in a prescription drug, we are deficient in vitamins and minerals.

What is natural healing?

Natural healing is all about cleaning up
and detoxifying the body in order to
create the right environment for it to

Healing requires time because
of the toxins, parasites and damages to
our cells accumulated in the entire life.

However, I think it’s just amazing how we ruin our body for a lifetime and then how it can heal completely in just a couple of years.

Health begins with what we eliminate from our diet, not with what we add.

The first step in recovery and healing is to completely remove harmful foods.

Only then we can think to add healthy foods filled with vitamins and minerals that promote our health.

Check out my online healthy food& supplements store to find out a list of healthy foods and supplements that I recommend.

“Within each of us there's a spark that can light the way to health. There are no incurable diseases, only incurable people.” – Bernie Siegel, MD

“Your diet is a bank account. Good food choices are good investments.” – Bethenny Frankel

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” – Hippocrates

Why is it so hard to change?

A lot of people that don’t want to take responsibility for their health say “You are going to die anyway”. They also say “I don’t want to restrict or limit my life. I want to experience everything.”

It may be true but quality aging is what you are striving for, so that you don’t depend on dozens of medications, crumble in pain, lose your mental faculties.

Eating junk food and abusing alcohol is simply an addiction.

It is the first thought that comes in our mind because it brings a sensation of relief.

However, an addiction means getting involved in a habitual activity (e.g., gambling, sex, shopping, self injury) or use of a substance (e.g., alcohol, junk food, prescription drugs, nicotine, cocaine) that a person seeks out in order to feel relief, but which has more control over a person than a person has over it.

In other words, despite of the initial relief there are adverse consequences in the long term.

Indeed, an addiction interferes with ordinary life responsibilities, such as work, relationships, or health.

There are two triggers for change: either you learn enough that you want to, or you hit rock bottom and you have to.

The choice to be healthy is something you need to think about as soon as you are a child, not just when you develop a chronic disease.

Indeed, the more your body is toxic the longer it takes to detoxify.

You have to take responsibility that health is a choice.

Taking prescription drugs is just a mean to cover the symptoms and continue with a wrong lifestyle. But if your body develops a symptom you’d better listen to it instead of covering it.

how to stop drinking alcohol | Fabrizio Fusco | junk food addiction

To help you make change happen I’m going to answer some of the most frequently asked questions that block people from reaching their goals.

  1. What can I eat instead of bread and pasta?

Instead of pasta you can eat gluten free grains (basmati brown rice, millet, buckwheat, ...) or legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas, ...).

Instead of bread you can buy flours made with gluten free grains, legumes or nuts and easily make your own bread.

Check out my online healthy food store to find out a list of healthy foods that I recommend.

  1. What can I eat to sweeten food and for breakfast?

Sugar and sweets are absolutely not allowed in the Anti-Candida diet.

Breakfast is a meal like the others so you can eat the same things as lunch and dinner.

However, if you’re used to eat biscuits you can easily do them at home with the allowed flours.

To sweeten the food, you can use chestnut flour, cashew nuts or fruit (observing the limit of 3-4 fruits per day) that are naturally sweet.

Once in a while it may be fine to use the natural sweetener Stevia.

Again, check out my online healthy food store to find out my recommendations.

  1. What if I cheat sometimes? How to face social events?

If you really need to eat out do the best you can do. Lots of healthy restaurants are growing around the world. Most of them are raw vegan restaurants. Make a research on Google to find them in your local area.

If you need to go to a traditional restaurant try to avoid at least the worst foods and limit all the others.

Sometimes, for example if you travel often, you have no alternatives.

If you are healthy your body can handle and filter harmful food once in a while.

However, if you have an autoimmune disease, try to avoid eating out at all costs.

Yes, it’s true, it requires tenacity and discipline and the acknowledgement that health is a choice.

  1. Can I come back to the old diet when I become asymptomatic?

You are a free being. You can do whatever you want.

But if you want to stay healthy then, no, you can’t.

Being asymptomatic is when you start a deep repair so it is the moment you want to stick to the diet the most.

  1. Do I always have to prepare my own food?

Unless there are healthy restaurants in your local area, yes you have to always prepare your own food. There’s no way around.

You have to take the time to prepare at home all your food. You can’t buy any kind of processed food or fast-food.

However, of course, there are also lots of foods in their natural state that are already ready to be eaten as they are: fruit, nuts, seeds and vegetables.

  1. Should I use non-stick pans?

Yes, it’s preferable to use nonstick pans.

However, use nonstick stone cookware because traditional nonstick leave toxic substances in the food when used at high temperatures (above 260 °C).

  1. What is the recommended temperature to cook food in oven?

Do not cook at a temperature too high since it can cause the leakage of toxic substances from the parchment paper.

Another reason is that the food is cooked externally but remains raw on the inside. For an even and safe cooking the recommended temperature is 200 °C.

Health is a choice

The power to heal your body lies within you.

Food and supplements are the fuel your body needs to sustain vitality. Make sure they are natural, clean and pure.

In my FREE e-book “DNA Is Not Your Destiny” I explain why you are not victim of your genes. You are the master of your destiny.

The Benefits Of Colloidal Silver: The Most Potent Natural Antibiotic

The following blog post The Benefits Of Colloidal Silver: The Most Potent Natural Antibiotic was originally seen on

A common antibiotic can kill perhaps a half-dozen different germs.

Colloidal silver kills some 650 different pathogens.

And resistant strains fail to develop.

Moreover, silver is virtually non-toxic.

Silver is the best germ fighter we have.

How Colloidal Silver works

Colloidal silver is a powerful, natural “antibiotic” to be used against every kind of infection.

It has the potential to kill 650 different micro-organisms, many of which are associated with human diseases.

The presence of colloidal silver near a bacterium, virus, fungus or any other single celled pathogen disables its oxygen metabolism enzyme, its chemical lung, so to say.

Within a few minutes (about six minutes), the pathogen suffocates and dies. Then it is cleared out of the body by the immune, lymphatic and elimination systems.

Unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics, which destroy beneficial enzymes, colloidal silver leaves these tissue-cell enzymes intact, as they are radically different from the enzymes of primitive single-celled life.

Thus colloidal silver is absolutely safe for humans, reptiles, plants and all multi-celled living matter.

We have all heard of the “super-germs” that are resistant to most modern antibiotics.

This isn’t the case with colloidal silver, indeed single- celled pathogens cannot mutate into silver- resistant forms, as happens with conventional antibiotics.

Therefore, no tolerance to colloidal silver would develop through mutation.

Also, colloidal silver has not been demonstrated to interact or interfere with other medicines being taken.

It truly is a safe, natural remedy for many diseases.

Unlike conventional antibiotics, colloidal silver doesn’t have a significant impact on the beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract and intestines.

However, to be prudent, I recommend supplementing with a probiotic when using any silver product on a regular basis or when using a silver product abundantly on a short-term basis.

Indeed, it’s often advisable to supplement with a probiotic regardless of whether you are using a silver product or not.

Check out my online healthy food& supplements store to purchase colloidal silver and find out a list of healthy foods and supplements that I recommend.

Why Colloidal Silver is not used today

Colloidal silver was in common use until 1938. It was used by physicians as a mainstream antibiotic treatment and was considered quite “high-tech.” Production methods, however, were costly.

The pharmaceutical industry moved in, causing colloidal research to be set aside in favor of fast working and financially lucrative drugs.

Since this monopoly has been established, colloidal silver is not recognized at all as a powerful natural antibiotic. It can only be sold and advertised as a supplement.

Also, traditional medicine tries to discourage the use of silver by taking into account the risk of skin discoloration called argyria.

While this risk actually exists, it is really difficult to overdose and cause your skin to become blue-grayish. The few cases of argyria that exist are the result of extremely irresponsible practices.

“Even the most powerful pharmaceutical antibiotics are effective against only a small number of microorganisms, and then only until drug-resistant strains develop. Yet, research at Washington University School of Medicine has shown that silver is bactericidal to nearly 650 different disease-causing organisms, and that silver–resistant bacteria strains do not develop." – Science Digest

"I know of no microbe that is not killed in laboratory experiments in six minutes." – Dr. Henry Crooks

“Larry C. Ford, MD, documented over 650 different disease-causing pathogens that were destroyed in minutes when exposed to small amounts of silver.” – Dr. Axe

colloidal silver health benefits | Fabrizio Fusco | colloidal silver natural antibiotic

How to use Colloidal Silver

The main method to take colloidal silver is oral administration. However, this powerful mineral can be used in many other ways as well.

1. Oral Administration

Taken orally, the silver solution is absorbed from the mouth into the bloodstream, then transported quickly to the body cells.

A regular daily intake as a protection enhances the immunity system since is like having a second defense system.

During acute infections (flu, sore throat, cold, ...) a higher dosage is able to quickly fight off the pathogens.

The directions reported on the product often refer to the safe amount to be taken using it daily for the whole life.

For a short term use (at most 10 days) to fight off acute infections, you can safely use up to ten times that amount.

If your body is extremely ill or toxic, don’t be in a hurry to clear up everything at once.

If pathogens are killed off too quickly, the body’s five eliminatory channels (liver, kidneys, skin, lungs and bowel) may be temporarily overloaded, causing flu-like conditions, headache, extreme fatigue, dizziness, nausea or aching muscles.

Regular bowel movements are a must in order to relieve the discomforts of detoxification.

2. Nasal Spray Misters

Colloidal silver is also sold in nasal spray misters to reach the sinuses and nasal passages.

3. Spray Bottles

Spray bottles have been used for topical use on skin, sore throat, eyes, burns, etc.

4. Colloidal Silver Cream

For topical use, colloidal silver is also sold as a cream and can be applied directly to cuts, scrapes, and open sores, or on a bandage for warts. It can also be applied on eczema, itches, acne, psoriasis, bug bites and so on.

Colloidal silver is painless on cuts, abrasions, in open wounds, in the nostrils for a stuffy nose, and even in a baby’s eyes because, unlike some antiseptics, it does not destroy tissue cells.

What Is Forgiveness Really About and How To Find Inner Peace

Read more on:

Do you feel a sense of anger or revenge towards someone?

Some people will never forgive.

If that’s the case, they still have you in prison.

It means that you’re willing to sabotage yourself physically and emotionally for the rest of your life.

All that because you think that forgiveness is weakness.

Instead is all the opposite.

Forgiveness is a sign of courage. It takes a strong and wise people to forgive someone.

Why people are caught in negative behaviors

Often people are caught in negative behaviors and we can’t seem to explain why that happens.

Actually, there are hidden positive intentions behind every action or belief they hold, behind everything they do or happens to them.

In other words, people are convinced that a specific action or behavior will enable them to feel better in some way.

And it’s true. It causes a sense of relief. But in the long term the effect it’s devastating for themselves and for the people around.

It’s like a drug. You feel relief but then it’s devastating.

Let’s consider some examples of hidden positive intentions:

  • Beating someone up. The hidden positive intention may be to feel a sense of power instead of powerlessness.
  • Lying. The hidden positive intention may be to make them seem more impressive to other people. So it is their way to feel that they are good enough and to get approval and support from other people.

Bottom line is people are not bad. They are just wounded.

Forgiveness is looking at people with the spiritual knowledge of their innocence rather than the mortal perception of their guilt. By forgiving, we do not grant victory to those who wronged us; instead, we surrender the aspect of mind that is blocking divine correction. Not forgiving, then, is granting victory to those who wronged us, in that we allow them to shape our reality. – Marianne Williamson,  Spiritual teacher, author, lecturer

Those who have failed to learn need teaching, not attack. To attack those who have need of teaching is to fail to learn from them. –  A course in miracles

Individuals who are realized in their own lives almost never criticize others. If they speak at all, it is to offer encouragement. – Steven Pressfield

Why other people drain our energy

Some people make you think thoughts that drain your energy. They suck your life, energy, joy and you feel depleted.

However, it’s not the person itself that drains you, it’s your own thoughts, your own perceptions. You only give them power if you give importance to what they say.

Actually, they are not the problem. Your reaction is the problem. Only your reaction determines if you let them suck our energy.

So, ask yourself this question when something is not going the way you like: “What thoughts and beliefs are present in me that are making me a match to this unwanted situation?”

When you still feel caught in an unwanted situation just say: I go beyond fears and limitations of other people, I control my life.” And you say that from a place of freedom, peace and love, not frustration.

Now, here are 3 steps to let go anger and revenge and forgive people:

1. Put yourself into their shoes

When we look deep into other people we see that all of them have one thing in common: they want to be happy.

Everyone is doing the best they can with what they’ve been given.

At the core humans are inherently good. Yet we see hatred everywhere.

How’s it possible?

Our ego gets in the way and disconnects us from our natural intelligence.

Our behavior is a consequence of our upbringing and circumstances in life.

When you feel resentment towards other people think about that: if you had their exact history, feelings, thoughts as strongly as they do then you would act in the exact same way.

2. It’s about setting yourself free

Forgiveness is about ourselves, it’s about letting go of the feeling of anger or revenge.

It is about unlocking the door to set someone free and realizing we were the prisoners.

It doesn’t mean that you deny the other person’s responsibility for hurting you, and it doesn’t minimize or justify the wrong.

You can forgive the person without excusing the act.

Forgiveness just brings a feeling of peace that helps you go on with life.

3. The world needs more compassion

Hatred and resentment generate only more violence.

Most of all it consumes yourself.

The solution is not to attack other people.

The best way to protect yourself is to have more compassion.

People with bad behaviors are just sad, frustrated people. Nobody happy and realized can ever hate on someone.

A realized person never attacks others. If they speak at all is to offer encouragement.

We all have had moments of jealousy, envy, low self-esteem.

Now think about how did you felt in those moments. You surely were unhappy, frustrated.

So when somebody is doing something wrong to you that’s where it’s coming from.

It’s coming from wounded people.

Only deep internal pain can make someone lash out and do something hateful.

Love is our true nature

Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we have learned here.

Every moment in our life we choose between love and fear.

Fear makes us hold to anger and revenge.

Love allows us to let it go and find inner peace.

We have to return to love. We haven’t lost that capacity. It is within each of us.

In my FREE e-book Love your life I explain just that: how to love yourself once again.

Because everything starts within and self-love is the root form which everything grows.

What’s The Real Origin And Meaning Of Sin? (And How It’s Doctrine Is Used To Control You)

See more on:

Religions talk about sin and sinners, but what does it really mean to sin?

Actually the concept of devil was invented by the human mind to control the masses with fear.

Many leaders managed to gain power through religion by associating people that would threaten their position with the devil and calling them infidels and heretics.

For this reason, the actual origin of the word “sin” and its meaning is unknown to too many people.

The Christian definition of sin

Christians believe that all living human beings have sinned and are in some way separated from God, who is perfect.

They define a sin as an act or thought that is contrary to the perfect will of God which separates the believer from the presence and will of God.

The only way a believer can escape the state of sinfulness is to become a believer in Jesus Christ.

There are a couple of problems with the Christian definition of sin just outlined:

1. “The only way to escape sins is to believe in Jesus.”

This means that Christianity is the only true faith.

This only calls for religious wars.

Yes, of course Jesus was one of the greatest spiritual guides. But most spiritual guides are not even known to us.

2. “Sin calls for punishment.”

This belief that punishment is correction is insane.

We need correction not punishment.

Judgment destroys honesty and shatters trust.

Open-mindedness comes with lack of judgment.

No one who loves can judge, and what he sees is free of condemnation.

“Jesus and religion are on opposite spectrums. One’s the work of God, one’s a man made invention. One is the cure, the other is the infection. Religion puts you in bondage but Jesus sets you free. Religion makes you blind but Jesus makes you see.” – Jefferson Bethke

“We were all humans until race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us and wealth classified us.” – Pravinee Hurbungs

At the time the concept of the devil came about, many leaders sought to gain power through religion. As such, all non-believers, infidels, and heretics (people who were thought to threaten total control) were to be associated with the devil and made to be the enemy of God as well as a threat to the eternal souls of others.” – Teal Swan

The real origin and meaning of sin

Not many people know that the word “sin” comes from ancient Greeks and the actual translation is “to miss the mark”.

This completely changes the concept of sin.

If you grew up in a Catholic household, you were taught that to sin is to be a terrible person.

Actually it only means that you made a mistake. It is everything that you feel, believe or say that goes against yourself.

The result is that so many people carry around the guilt of the mistakes they have made, thinking they are horrid people.

Once you become aware that sins are mistakes to be correct they become powerful tools to enhance your life.

If you think of sin as errors harming yourself (or others, as we are one) they can show what you need to know to improve your life.

the doctrine of original sin | Fabrizio Fusco | the origin of sin

Here are 4 steps to reprogram yourself and take your spiritual life to the next level.

1.Practice self-love

You make decisions every single day. Even the choice to choose nothing or delaying a choice is a decision. Your life is the result of a lifetime of decisions.

There’s only one problem.

The person you are is miserable.

So, here’s the challenge I want you to commit.

Every time you feel negative or you face a decision I want you to ask yourself the following question:

What would someone who loves themselves do?

Give an answer to yourself and take action on it.

Live your life according this one simple question. The answer will come as an intuition: a gut feeling, a thought, an image, an emotion, a sensation.

2. Don’t be harsh with yourself

Before you make something that could potentially be detrimental to you, practice asking yourself:

"Would I do this to the child within me?

Visualize your inner child looking at a photo or through imagination.

Are you able to say to that child that she deserves to be unhappy, deprived and unloved?

Probably not. Yet that’s what you are saying to your adult self.

Can you identify a point in your life when you suddenly became undeserving of happiness and love?

Probably not. This means you still deserve to love yourself.

There will never be a time in your life where you deserve anything less than your childhood self deserves.

So, even if you experience setbacks along the journey don’t judge yourself. Don’t be harsh with yourself. Just come back on track.

3. Make your happiness a priority

Make happiness the most important thing in your life.

Build a habit of positive focus and appreciative attitude toward yourself.

Happy people focus on what they already have, while unhappy people focus on what they lack.

Don’t seek the approval of other people to make your decisions.

You’re better than that. You’re unique, you don’t need to fit other people’s desires to feel accepted.

4. Respect your own boundaries

We often violate our own boundaries adopting another person’s beliefs or ideas so we are accepted and loved.

But if you don’t decide how you want to live, what you want to be, and what you want to do, then someone or something else will decide these things for you.

And this will destroy you in the long-term.

Take your life to the next level and inspire people

Western institutions, politics, organized religions influenced us with concepts as humility, suffering, sacrifice, equality seeking to make us all equal by making us all “slaves”.

Our playing small doesn’t serve the world. We want to blaze our own path to give others permission and inspiration to do the same.

Self-love is the root from which everything grows.

In my FREE e-book "Love your life" I explain just that: how you can start cultivating love within yourself.

Because everything starts within you.

What Are The Benefits Of Taking Higher Doses Of Vitamin C?

See more on: UK Life and Health Coach Fabrizio Fusco

Vitamin C is an essential antioxidant necessary to protect our body from free radicals that can damage our cells.

It is also essential to strengthen the immune system.

The question is: “Are we taking enough? How much should we take?”

Cleanse the body and repair damaged cells

Oxidation reactions are a physiological process in animal tissue. They develop
from respiration, metabolism, sunlight, exercise and many other factors.

However, they produce harmful molecules called free radicals.

the production of free radicals is beyond
the protective capability of the antioxidant defenses, oxidative stress occurs.

This process causes damage or death of the cells and also alters the cell DNA playing a significant role in many human diseases.

It’s not that we have a faulty DNA, it’s that oxidative stress damages it.

Antioxidants terminate harmful chain reactions by removing free radical intermediates and inhibiting other oxidation reactions.

In other words, they are essential to cleanse the body and repair damaged cells.

Are you lacking in vitamin C or taking enough?

The Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) is the daily dietary intake level of a nutrient considered sufficient by the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine to meet the requirements of 97.5% of healthy individuals in each life-stage and sex group.

The problem is that when it comes to minerals and vitamins we are not getting enough of them.

And we’re not getting enough because we don’t really know what is the minimum required to live optimally. It hasn’t been researched well enough.

For example, what is enough vitamin C? The RDA is fixed at 90 mg/day.

Now, do you know how the government came up with this number? Well, it comes out by:

  1. Measuring all the food that is soiled every year
  2. From this you calculate how much vitamin C is soiled every year
  3. Divide by the number of people
  4. Divide by the number of days in a year

This is where the RDA for vitamin C (90mg/ day) comes out.

And medical doctors and traditional nutritionists base their recommendations on that calculation that has nothing to do neither with science nor health.

The optimal dosage theory

Linus Pauling, a great scientific mind, came up with 2500 mg/day for Vitamin C. In his later years he promoted megavitamin therapy, dietary supplements, and taking large doses of vitamin C, none of which have gained acceptance in the mainstream scientific community.

The fact that we keep the RDA for Vitamin C at 90 mg/day is ridiculous.

It is ridiculous because stress burns this quantity in a few minutes, pollution and processed food do the same, a single cigarette burns all the RDA.

Even if we don’t exactly know what is the minimum required it’s easy to understand that the limit set by the government is way too low.

Yet it seems not too easy to understand for the Food and Nutrition Board. Actually, the fact is if they accept to recommend large doses of minerals and vitamins the whole Pharmaceutical Industry would be out of business.

“Good nutrition and vitamins do not directly cure disease, the body does. You provide the raw materials and the inborn wisdom of your body makes the repair.” – Andrew W. Saul

“No evidence compels the conclusion that the minimum required intake of any vitamin comes close to the optimum intake that sustains good health.”– Linus Pauling

“Vitamin C is the world’s best natural antibiotic, antiviral, antitoxin and antihistamine.” – Andrew W. Saul

How to get the optimal levels of Vitamin C

Vitamin C is the most powerful antioxidant.

The RDA of 90 mg a day, is just enough to barely survive.

In a world plagued by chronic diseases, it’s absolutely not enough.

If you want to heal and repair your damaged cells you have to take 3 to 7 grams a day while if you’re already healthy 1.5 to 3 grams a day for maintenance are enough.

Also you need to spread the dosage throughout the day because your body will absorb only so much at one time.

If you think it’s enough to take your vitamin C from food think twice. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

A lemon or an orange contain about 50 mg of vitamin C. It means you’d need to eat 100 oranges a day to take 5 grams of vitamin C.

vitamin c deficiency diseases prevention | Fabrizio Fusco | effects of high dose vitamin c

The only way to reclaim your health is to take supplements.

There are two options:

1. Buy vitamin C tablets

This is the easiest option. Just buy Vitamin C tablets and take them.

Ideally each pill contains 1g of vitamin C taken 5 times per day.

2. Buy Ascorbic Acid Powder

If you want to save some money you can buy ascorbic acid powder. Also, this is the most natural possible form of the vitamin.

Ascorbic acid is just the name of Vitamin C.

Now you have to make your own dosage of Vitamin C. So follow this easy steps:

  • Pour 66 grams of ascorbic acid powder in a liter of water and shake the bottle.
  • Drink 15 ml (that contains 1 gram of vitamin C) ideally 5 times a day for therapeutic effects.
  • Use glass bottles (plastic may leak toxic substances) and keep them in a cool, dry and dark place.

Make sure to buy only healthy supplements

Most supplements have been processed by Pharmaceutical Companies the same way our food is processed so they often contain sugar and other toxic elements.

Make sure to read the label to check the list of ingredients and only buy from trusted sources.

Check out my online healthy food & supplements store to find vitamin C tablets and ascorbic acid powder plus a list of every food and supplement that I recommend.

So now, it’s your choice. Make a decision. Take the challenge. It’s all on you.

How To Make A Difference And Become A Winner In Life

The blog post How To Make A Difference And Become A Winner In Life was originally published to

The characteristics of the African Impala are really fascinating.

This gazelle, with a single jump can reach a height of 10 feet and cover a distance of 30 feet.

How fascinating is this!

Yet they can be kept in any zoo with a 3 feet wall.

The animal will never jump if they can’t see where exactly their feet will land.

Well, as human beings we are very similar.

We are fascinating creatures enclosed in a prison that doesn’t exist.

A prison that we create in our own mind.

Why have we given up our true nature?

Our life, our true nature is meant to be an adventure.

Instead we have traded it for the illusion of safety.

We were ambitious… But we lost that ambition because someone told us how to behave.

Maybe we have tried to unleash our creativity but then we’ve given up.

Unsupportive family and friends convinced us to come back into the illusion of safety.

We live in a life we don’t feel our own. But why have we given up our true nature?

The answer is ingrained in our society. Our schools are built to train kids to create complaint, obedient factory workers.

We have developed a habit to follow instructions.

And it worked in the past.

But not anymore.

Because the world is changing really fast.

“You get from this life what you have the courage to ask for” – Oprah Wrinfey

“You can choose courage or you can choose comfort. You cannot have both.” – Brenè Brown

“Technology has led to an explosion in people speaking. Most people are saying virtually nothing. But a few people, who would never have been chosen by those in power, are saying more. Writing more deeply, connecting more viscerally, changing the things around them. That's each of us, at our best.” – Seth Godin

Today you can make a difference

The economic crisis is the sign that the world is changing fast. In 10 years 60% of the current jobs will be replaced by machines.

Safety is an illusion.

But this change is also the greatest opportunity of all times.

Because today a single person has the power to make a difference, to spread their message across the world.

Yes, everyone would like to win easy, to avoid the risk to lose the job, the reputation, the time.

But the magic of happiness lies in the craziness to risk.

You don’t need to wait for permission to live the life that you desire.

You can start today.

You have to take action.

ways to make a difference | Fabrizio Fusco | the difference that makes the difference

The following steps will help you make a difference in life and put you on the path towards excellence.

1. Be remarkable

In today’s world you need to risk.

Because the truth is that seeking safety is actually the riskiest thing you can do in the current economy.

In the age of information, we live in such a noisy world. You have to be truly remarkable to stand out.

If you fit in, if you are average, if you don’t develop a passion you will be invisible.

And being invisible means you’re doomed to fail.

2. Be crystal clear about what you want

“I want more money” it doesn’t work, it’s too general.

You have to have clarity. Clarity is power.

You have to know exactly what you want. And then your brain knows how to get there.

Your brain, when you condition it, knows exactly how to find a way to get there.

If you don’t know exactly what you want, you’re not going to achieve it.

You can get whatever you want but you have to know what it is.

3. Be curious

Be curios, explore new things, allow the Universe energy to flow. Move into the space of curiosity, which is a joyous state of not knowing.

To be in a state of “allowing”, means to deliberately choose thoughts, words and actions that allow your desires to manifest in your reality.

To make this possible, your thoughts, words and actions must line up with your desires. It is a state of deliberate focus and inspired action.

4. Find your purpose

You have to know your purpose, why you want something.

Because when you set a big
goal life will knock you downmany times.

That’s when people
give up.

But if you have clarity
of values you still understand
why you are there. If you know
your purpose, if you know why you’re doing it then you’ll be able to pick yourself up every single day.

5. Have a massive action plan

You have to have a massive action plan. You have to have enough plans or always invent new others.

Otherwise when you fail the first times you’re going to make excuse why they didn’t work and give up.

The difference that makes the difference

This is best time in history to make a difference. The world is full of opportunities.

You can make a difference. You can inspire millions of people.

The real question is “will you do it?”.

You can win or you can lose. But the good news is that if you lose you can always get up and try again.

Don’t settle for average, don’t settle for the illusion of safety. You’re better than that.

It all start with you. In my FREE e-book Love your life I explain just that: how to love yourself once again.

Because everything starts within and self-love is the root form which everything grows.

Becoming Wise Means Knowing The Difference Between Wisdom vs. Knowledge

The article Becoming Wise Means Knowing The Difference Between Wisdom vs. Knowledge was originally seen on Online Health and Life Coach Fabrizio Fusco

Today everyone piles up knowledge.

That’s the function of schoolscollegesuniversities.

But does knowledge make you a free being?

Unfortunately, too often it doesn’t. Actually, all the opposite.

The real key to freedom is wisdom.

And nobody teaches you how to be wise.

So, what really is wisdom?

The information available is infinite

As little children, our true nature is to love each other, to be happy, to explore and enjoy life.

We are completely authentic. Our actions are guided solely by instinct and emotions.

Starting from the age of two, people around us program us with knowledge.

But their knowledge (or information) is just one perspective of the world.

However, we are so influenced by this knowledge that we slowly lose the capacity to perceive the world through the eyes of love.

We start to only perceive what we have learned to believe, what we’ve been programmed to believe.

In the spiritual field, the Akashic records represent any thought which has been previously thought in the history of this universe.

We can think of it as all the knowledge (or information) available on the Universe.

In other words, the information available is infinite and all pieces of information simply represent different perspectives.

“Is knowledge controlling you, or are you controlling knowledge?” – Don Miguel Ruiz

“True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us.” – Socrates

“No society wants you to become wise. If people are wise they cannot be exploited. If they are intelligent they cannot be subjugated, they cannot be forced in a mechanical life, to live like robots. They will assert their individuality. They will like to live in freedom.” – OSHO

Freedom comes with wisdom

No society really wants you to be free. Communists, fascists, capitalists, Christians, Muslims, they all repress your individuality, your creativity, your genius, your worth.

Because if people are wise, educated and intelligent they can’t be exploited and subjugated by the ones who are in power.

Schools, colleges, universities don’t teach you to become wise.

Yes, they provide knowledge. But this knowledge, often doesn’t serve you. It serves the vested interests of the men who are in power.

You need wisdom. Not just knowledge.

Wisdom needs a totally different approach. Wisdom is the flowering of your transparency, your luminous being.

wisdom vs knowledge | Fabrizio Fusco | from knowledge to wisdom

Follow the next steps to transform knowledge into wisdom and start the journey towards personal freedom.

1.Build up knowledge from different perspectives

We are in the information age. All the information we want is just one click away. Schools and universities are not the only source of knowledge anymore.

Learn form as many source as you can. Universities represent just one source of information.

As we said the amount of information available is infinite. This means that we can’t know everything about everything. All life is based on exploration, expansion, adventure, discovery, learning.

Wisdom is being aware of how little we know no matter how much knowledge we pile up.

2. Let go of the attachment to knowledge

When we pile up knowledge and we earn degrees we start to feel superior to other people.

Actually, we can’t affirm that some knowledge is true and some is false. It is subjective.

Instead we become attached to the need of being right.

We start to believe that anyone who doesn’t agree with us is wrong (especially if they have less degree than we do).

This attachment damages our lives and other people’s life.

In extreme case the attachment grows to such a level where respect is lost even for humanity. At this level people are willing to die and kill others for their beliefs.

Turn on any news station and it’s easy to see examples of attachments to this level in topics such as religion, politics, money, sex, power.

A wise person knows that building up knowledge is not enough. It is vital to let go of the attachment to being right.

We have to understand that everything is just a perspective of life. Nothing is right or wrong. Nothing makes us better o worse, superior or inferior.

Nothing can be imposed - not even help.  We can only help people that are willing to be changed. All we can do is find our own bliss giving others inspiration and permission to do the same.

3. Discern the useful knowledge

Knowledge is about adding information. Wisdom is about subtracting information. It’s the opposite.

Wisdom is an unlearning process, the unlearning of the ego’s false belief system, of the negativity, of the lack, the comparing, the separation.

It’s the process of releasing fear based beliefs and the blocks to the presence of love so that we can reconnect to our inspiration that is our inner guidance or spiritual guidance.

In other words, wisdom is the capacity of discerning all the knowledge and keeping only the pieces that add up to your personal definition of beautiful life.

4. Question everything

Wise people question everything they see or hear.

They keep asking themselves: “Is this information really useful to increase my inner peace and happiness and to make other people’s life better?”

Whenever we believe something without question, we are at risk for attachment at the most extreme level.

Don’t just believe people. Don’t believe even yourself. That voice that says you’re not enough. Don’t believe it.

Don’t believe anything that would hinder your path towards happiness and personal freedom.

Just learn to listen to yourself and everyone else. What you do with that information is up to you.

You can agree or disagree, act on it or discard it… And that depends on what you want to attract in your life.

Love is what we are born with

Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we have learned here.

Our goal must be to unlearn everything that is damaging our life and other people lives.

We must come back to the authenticity that every child owns.

We haven’t lost that capacity. It is within each of us.

In my FREE e-book Love your life I explain just that: how to love yourself once again.

Because everything starts within and self-love is the root form which everything grows.

4 Steps For Healing Childhood Emotional Trauma And Regain Control Of Your Life

The article 4 Steps For Healing Childhood Emotional Trauma And Regain Control Of Your Life is republished from Personal Life Coach Fabrizio Fusco

When we become adults, we think that our childhood has ended, but that’s not the way it is.

Our child self remains alive within us. Perceptions and beliefs remain stored in the unconscious mind. And this affects the way we think, feel, and act as adult beings.

Behavioural programming during childhood

The unconscious mind works like a computer that stores information about every experience and our reaction to them since birthday. In other words, it merely reflects what we have stored inside.

From these references we guide our existence. So, the unconscious mind drives on our behalf according to how we perceive our past experiences.

It’s widely known that most information is stored inside the unconscious mind between gestation and eight years of age.

These life-shaping subconscious programs are the result of observing and interacting with people around us: parents, siblings, teachers, community, and culture.

In other word, we spend the first 8 years of life, “downloading” beliefs and experiences from our family and culture.

During the first 8 years of life, the way we feel is primarily reactive. This means that when we feel painful emotions and our parents don’t validate us, we are stuck in that pain with no knowledge of how to assimilate or heal it.

Only after 8 years, when our cognitive mind is developed, we can rationalize our way into thinking whatever makes sense to us, give a meaning to painful emotions and move forward.

This means that actually we don’t experience any new trauma after the age of eight.

“The cost of shaping ourselves to fit the desires, preferences, and expectations of others, is losing ourselves; and when we lose ourselves we become frozen without direction, unable to make our own choices.” – Teal Swan, (Spiritual teacher)

“Every negative or traumatic event in your life can become either an opportunity to grow or a prison in which you feel trapped.” – Ann Boroch, ND

“Anytime you experience something as upsetting or uncomfortable, it is a triggered memory. You are not, in fact, living anything new in your life. You are experiencing nothing but reflections from your childhood. There are no exceptions to this rule.” – Teal Swan (Spiritual teacher)

Emotional experiences are a reflection of childhood

What does really mean that we don’t experience any new trauma after the age of 8?

You may say, for example, that your heartache from breaking up the first love was very real.

And it sure is.

But the new trauma is, in fact, just a reflection of a prior wound.

In other words, you aren’t living a new trauma; you are experiencing nothing but reflections from your childhood.

You live and re-live the trauma. You are not able to live in the present moment because the past trauma continues to come up again and again in order to reintegrate itself.

This situation leads to an unhappy life, addiction, failed relationships.

But you can stop the cycle and live a whole different life.

coping early childhood emotional trauma | Fabrizio Fusco | healing the child within

Here are 4 steps for healing childhood emotional trauma and break free of negative emotions...

1. Embrace negative emotions

Any emotional upset you experience in the present is, in fact, just the echo of a traumatic memory. It’s a trigger from a prior wound that needs your attention.

This emotional upset (trigger) helps you see the wounds that you have tried to suppress. It’s like a messenger carrying the echo of something important.

Since triggers hurt so badly you may find it difficult to accept them as beneficial instead of detrimental.

Using a metaphor, you’re living your life escaping from a tornado. Don’t escape it anymore. Run into it, embrace your negative emotions. They are just a messenger.

2. Be fully present with your emotions

Be with your emotions regardless if they feel bad or good. Don’t escape from them.

Allow them to fully express. Understand that there’s nothing wrong with negative emotions.

Validate your emotions, learn from them, hear what they want you to hear, see what they want you to see. Completely be with how you feel.

3. Invite memories to surface

Now is the moment to go back in time.

While you fully experience your feelings ask yourself: “When was the last time I felt this sensation?” and then “when was the time before?”.

Continue the process and try to go back to the first time you experienced those feelings.

See and experience memories that come up from your unconscious.

Experience what your feelings want you to see, hear, feel.

4. Inner child work

Once you are in your unconscious memories, mentally alter the memory in a way that feels emotionally positive. This procedure is called inner child work.

For example, in your memory you were a child, you did something on your own and you felt a sense of accomplishment.

Your father discarded it and made it again because he could do it better than you. You felt worthless.

Now reframe the experience in a way that you’d like it to happen today. Send all the good feelings inside of you to everyone in that memory.

Imagine your adult self approaching the child and enable the child to feel better. You may imagine a person explain the entire situation objectively to the child and help him not take the experience personally.

Experience a new life

Altering a memory from childhood changes your current echoes (emotional upsets) as a result of it.

It means that you can really change the way you experience your life. You can break free of the past and take back control of your life.

Make today count. Make every day count. Make your life count. Make the rest of your life the best of your life.

In my FREE e-book “Love your life” I explain just that: how to love yourself once again. So that you can spread the love to the entire world.

What Is Chronic Disease And How To Heal The Body Of Illness In 4 Steps

What Is Chronic Disease And How To Heal The Body Of Illness In 4 Steps was originally published to

We are losing our battle against chronic diseases.

It’s becoming evident that western traditional medicine is not the solution to our problems.

Yet we still believe that Medical Doctors know what’s best for us.

What is the real truth about health and chronic diseases?

The business of traditional medicine

Medical Doctors have been trained only in one small piece of medical science known as allopathic reductionism.

The fact is that medical science includes other kinds of medicine too: naturopathic, chiropractic, homeopathic, osteopathic, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and so on.

The reason why we only hear about allopathic reductionism is an economic reason.

Medicine is a business like everything else. Pharmaceuticals companies and some medical doctors are in control, they managed to create a monopoly since the 1920s.

Their intent is to keep the disease process under control with

prescription drugs: they manage the disease, they don’t cure.

The whole system that has been created is focused on selling the cure.

The symptoms we experience are the result of bad lifestyle, junk food, stress and toxicity.

Prescription drugs suppress the symptoms. But they don’t address the root cause.

For example, consider that our house is full of garbage on the floor. We put a blanket on it and we don’t see it anymore. But it’s still there.

That’s exactly what happens when we cover the symptoms. The problem it’s still there.

Not only that, artificially modifying the chemistry with a prescription drug will disrupt the biochemistry even more feeding the disease.

We are not deficient in a prescription drug, we are deficient in vitamins and minerals.

I once worked as a writer for a big New York ad agency. Our boss used to tell us: Invent a disease. Come up with the disease, he said, and we can sell the cure. Attention Deficit Disorder, Seasonal Affect Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder. These aren't diseases, they're marketing ploys. Doctors didn't discover them, copywriters did. Marketing departments did. Drug companies did.” – Steven Pressfield

“You need to talk to people that are producing results on a consistent basis. A doctor has statistically an average life of 56 years, the highest abuse of alcohol, the highest abuse of drugs and the highest rate of suicide. Is that the kind of person you want to ask how to be fit, healthy and strong?” – Leonard Coldwell, ND

"Your body has not forgotten how to heal—you just need to create the right environment for a long enough period of time to remove inflammation and infection.” –  Ann Boroch, ND

How the bias is built into the system

The health industry is run by pharmaceutical companies (Big Pharma).

Medical studies are biased because are funded by the very same companies that profit from the success of their prescription drugs.

Those companies also lobby politicians to pass legislation that is not in the best interest of human life.

Finally, those companies own the media. To say the truth to the general public would hurt the sales. So the information that people receive is biased, it’s dishonest.

If you are exposed to some information enough times pretty soon you believe it’s the truth.

However, if you really want to break free of the system and really improve your health.

what is chronic disease | Fabrizio Fusco | you can heal your body

Here are a few step on how to heal the body of illness and break free from chronic diseases.

1. Follow someone who already did it

If you want to achieve something in life don’t trust someone for the only reason they have a title.

You need something more than just a title.

You need someone who already did what you’re looking for.

If you want to lose weight talk to someone that was obese and now is slim, healthy and strong.

If you want to be a marathon runner talk to someone who completed at least one marathon.

If you want to heal your emotional wounds talk to someone who defeated depression in his life.

These are the kind of people you want to talk to. They have done it before and are producing results. And that makes a difference.

2. Question everything

Educate yourself. Question everything you have been said.

Don’t be influenced by other people. Have the courage to follow your path.

A study conducted at the university of Leeds show that if we have a large enough flock of sheep and 5% of them go in a particular direction, then all the flock follows the same direction, without knowing why.

The study also shows that the same is true for human beings. For any large group of people, it only takes 5% to take a certain decision and everyone follows them, without knowing why.

I’m sure you’re better than that. Find your own truth.

3. Eat healthy food and take natural supplements

Most of the stuff available on grocery store shelves or restaurant menus can hardly be
 called food.

Everything is processed and industrialized; they give us the calories we need to barely survive, but not the nutrients we need to be healthy.

Health begins with what we eliminate from our diet, not with what we add.

Also, each vitamin and mineral has a specific role in maintaining healthy cells.

Because of depleted and toxic soils and environmental toxins the amount of vitamins and minerals in the food we eat is declining.

That’s the reason why we need vitamin and mineral supplements more than ever.

Check out my online healthy food & supplements store to find out a list of healthy foods and supplements that I recommend.

4. Establish a healthy lifestyle

Physical exercise is a great way to be fit: it lowers the weight, improves the shape and fitness by strengthening muscles and bones, it regulates the glucose metabolism, releases endorphin that make you feel happy and helps regulate sleep.

You can run, cycle, swim, go to gym, whatever you want. Actually there is no need to be a marathon runner, it can be sufficient to walk or simply to stay in movement conducting an active lifestyle.

Another element to consider is toxicity: avoid or cut back toxic products.

Let go of what you can’t control. For instance, of course we have to breathe even if the air is polluted.

However, avoiding smoking cigarettes or recreational drugs is something that it’s under your control.

Health is a choice

The power to break free of chronic diseases lies within you.

It’s a choice... The choice to focus on the solution and commit to it.

It’s a choice that requires tenacity and determination.

It’s a choice that sets you free. If you are determined enough.

“Health is a choice” means to give back hope to people that risked to lose it.

In my FREE e-book “DNA Is Not Your Destiny” I explain just that: I want you to know that you are not victim of your genes. You are the master of your destiny.

So now, it’s your choice. Make a decision. Take the challenge. It’s all on you.
