4 Steps For Healing Childhood Emotional Trauma And Regain Control Of Your Life

The article 4 Steps For Healing Childhood Emotional Trauma And Regain Control Of Your Life is republished from Personal Life Coach Fabrizio Fusco

When we become adults, we think that our childhood has ended, but that’s not the way it is.

Our child self remains alive within us. Perceptions and beliefs remain stored in the unconscious mind. And this affects the way we think, feel, and act as adult beings.

Behavioural programming during childhood

The unconscious mind works like a computer that stores information about every experience and our reaction to them since birthday. In other words, it merely reflects what we have stored inside.

From these references we guide our existence. So, the unconscious mind drives on our behalf according to how we perceive our past experiences.

It’s widely known that most information is stored inside the unconscious mind between gestation and eight years of age.

These life-shaping subconscious programs are the result of observing and interacting with people around us: parents, siblings, teachers, community, and culture.

In other word, we spend the first 8 years of life, “downloading” beliefs and experiences from our family and culture.

During the first 8 years of life, the way we feel is primarily reactive. This means that when we feel painful emotions and our parents don’t validate us, we are stuck in that pain with no knowledge of how to assimilate or heal it.

Only after 8 years, when our cognitive mind is developed, we can rationalize our way into thinking whatever makes sense to us, give a meaning to painful emotions and move forward.

This means that actually we don’t experience any new trauma after the age of eight.

“The cost of shaping ourselves to fit the desires, preferences, and expectations of others, is losing ourselves; and when we lose ourselves we become frozen without direction, unable to make our own choices.” – Teal Swan, (Spiritual teacher)

“Every negative or traumatic event in your life can become either an opportunity to grow or a prison in which you feel trapped.” – Ann Boroch, ND

“Anytime you experience something as upsetting or uncomfortable, it is a triggered memory. You are not, in fact, living anything new in your life. You are experiencing nothing but reflections from your childhood. There are no exceptions to this rule.” – Teal Swan (Spiritual teacher)

Emotional experiences are a reflection of childhood

What does really mean that we don’t experience any new trauma after the age of 8?

You may say, for example, that your heartache from breaking up the first love was very real.

And it sure is.

But the new trauma is, in fact, just a reflection of a prior wound.

In other words, you aren’t living a new trauma; you are experiencing nothing but reflections from your childhood.

You live and re-live the trauma. You are not able to live in the present moment because the past trauma continues to come up again and again in order to reintegrate itself.

This situation leads to an unhappy life, addiction, failed relationships.

But you can stop the cycle and live a whole different life.

coping early childhood emotional trauma | Fabrizio Fusco | healing the child within

Here are 4 steps for healing childhood emotional trauma and break free of negative emotions...

1. Embrace negative emotions

Any emotional upset you experience in the present is, in fact, just the echo of a traumatic memory. It’s a trigger from a prior wound that needs your attention.

This emotional upset (trigger) helps you see the wounds that you have tried to suppress. It’s like a messenger carrying the echo of something important.

Since triggers hurt so badly you may find it difficult to accept them as beneficial instead of detrimental.

Using a metaphor, you’re living your life escaping from a tornado. Don’t escape it anymore. Run into it, embrace your negative emotions. They are just a messenger.

2. Be fully present with your emotions

Be with your emotions regardless if they feel bad or good. Don’t escape from them.

Allow them to fully express. Understand that there’s nothing wrong with negative emotions.

Validate your emotions, learn from them, hear what they want you to hear, see what they want you to see. Completely be with how you feel.

3. Invite memories to surface

Now is the moment to go back in time.

While you fully experience your feelings ask yourself: “When was the last time I felt this sensation?” and then “when was the time before?”.

Continue the process and try to go back to the first time you experienced those feelings.

See and experience memories that come up from your unconscious.

Experience what your feelings want you to see, hear, feel.

4. Inner child work

Once you are in your unconscious memories, mentally alter the memory in a way that feels emotionally positive. This procedure is called inner child work.

For example, in your memory you were a child, you did something on your own and you felt a sense of accomplishment.

Your father discarded it and made it again because he could do it better than you. You felt worthless.

Now reframe the experience in a way that you’d like it to happen today. Send all the good feelings inside of you to everyone in that memory.

Imagine your adult self approaching the child and enable the child to feel better. You may imagine a person explain the entire situation objectively to the child and help him not take the experience personally.

Experience a new life

Altering a memory from childhood changes your current echoes (emotional upsets) as a result of it.

It means that you can really change the way you experience your life. You can break free of the past and take back control of your life.

Make today count. Make every day count. Make your life count. Make the rest of your life the best of your life.

In my FREE e-book “Love your life” I explain just that: how to love yourself once again. So that you can spread the love to the entire world.

What Is Chronic Disease And How To Heal The Body Of Illness In 4 Steps

What Is Chronic Disease And How To Heal The Body Of Illness In 4 Steps was originally published to http://www.fabriziofusco.com

We are losing our battle against chronic diseases.

It’s becoming evident that western traditional medicine is not the solution to our problems.

Yet we still believe that Medical Doctors know what’s best for us.

What is the real truth about health and chronic diseases?

The business of traditional medicine

Medical Doctors have been trained only in one small piece of medical science known as allopathic reductionism.

The fact is that medical science includes other kinds of medicine too: naturopathic, chiropractic, homeopathic, osteopathic, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and so on.

The reason why we only hear about allopathic reductionism is an economic reason.

Medicine is a business like everything else. Pharmaceuticals companies and some medical doctors are in control, they managed to create a monopoly since the 1920s.

Their intent is to keep the disease process under control with

prescription drugs: they manage the disease, they don’t cure.

The whole system that has been created is focused on selling the cure.

The symptoms we experience are the result of bad lifestyle, junk food, stress and toxicity.

Prescription drugs suppress the symptoms. But they don’t address the root cause.

For example, consider that our house is full of garbage on the floor. We put a blanket on it and we don’t see it anymore. But it’s still there.

That’s exactly what happens when we cover the symptoms. The problem it’s still there.

Not only that, artificially modifying the chemistry with a prescription drug will disrupt the biochemistry even more feeding the disease.

We are not deficient in a prescription drug, we are deficient in vitamins and minerals.

I once worked as a writer for a big New York ad agency. Our boss used to tell us: Invent a disease. Come up with the disease, he said, and we can sell the cure. Attention Deficit Disorder, Seasonal Affect Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder. These aren't diseases, they're marketing ploys. Doctors didn't discover them, copywriters did. Marketing departments did. Drug companies did.” – Steven Pressfield

“You need to talk to people that are producing results on a consistent basis. A doctor has statistically an average life of 56 years, the highest abuse of alcohol, the highest abuse of drugs and the highest rate of suicide. Is that the kind of person you want to ask how to be fit, healthy and strong?” – Leonard Coldwell, ND

"Your body has not forgotten how to heal—you just need to create the right environment for a long enough period of time to remove inflammation and infection.” –  Ann Boroch, ND

How the bias is built into the system

The health industry is run by pharmaceutical companies (Big Pharma).

Medical studies are biased because are funded by the very same companies that profit from the success of their prescription drugs.

Those companies also lobby politicians to pass legislation that is not in the best interest of human life.

Finally, those companies own the media. To say the truth to the general public would hurt the sales. So the information that people receive is biased, it’s dishonest.

If you are exposed to some information enough times pretty soon you believe it’s the truth.

However, if you really want to break free of the system and really improve your health.

what is chronic disease | Fabrizio Fusco | you can heal your body

Here are a few step on how to heal the body of illness and break free from chronic diseases.

1. Follow someone who already did it

If you want to achieve something in life don’t trust someone for the only reason they have a title.

You need something more than just a title.

You need someone who already did what you’re looking for.

If you want to lose weight talk to someone that was obese and now is slim, healthy and strong.

If you want to be a marathon runner talk to someone who completed at least one marathon.

If you want to heal your emotional wounds talk to someone who defeated depression in his life.

These are the kind of people you want to talk to. They have done it before and are producing results. And that makes a difference.

2. Question everything

Educate yourself. Question everything you have been said.

Don’t be influenced by other people. Have the courage to follow your path.

A study conducted at the university of Leeds show that if we have a large enough flock of sheep and 5% of them go in a particular direction, then all the flock follows the same direction, without knowing why.

The study also shows that the same is true for human beings. For any large group of people, it only takes 5% to take a certain decision and everyone follows them, without knowing why.

I’m sure you’re better than that. Find your own truth.

3. Eat healthy food and take natural supplements

Most of the stuff available on grocery store shelves or restaurant menus can hardly be
 called food.

Everything is processed and industrialized; they give us the calories we need to barely survive, but not the nutrients we need to be healthy.

Health begins with what we eliminate from our diet, not with what we add.

Also, each vitamin and mineral has a specific role in maintaining healthy cells.

Because of depleted and toxic soils and environmental toxins the amount of vitamins and minerals in the food we eat is declining.

That’s the reason why we need vitamin and mineral supplements more than ever.

Check out my online healthy food & supplements store to find out a list of healthy foods and supplements that I recommend.

4. Establish a healthy lifestyle

Physical exercise is a great way to be fit: it lowers the weight, improves the shape and fitness by strengthening muscles and bones, it regulates the glucose metabolism, releases endorphin that make you feel happy and helps regulate sleep.

You can run, cycle, swim, go to gym, whatever you want. Actually there is no need to be a marathon runner, it can be sufficient to walk or simply to stay in movement conducting an active lifestyle.

Another element to consider is toxicity: avoid or cut back toxic products.

Let go of what you can’t control. For instance, of course we have to breathe even if the air is polluted.

However, avoiding smoking cigarettes or recreational drugs is something that it’s under your control.

Health is a choice

The power to break free of chronic diseases lies within you.

It’s a choice... The choice to focus on the solution and commit to it.

It’s a choice that requires tenacity and determination.

It’s a choice that sets you free. If you are determined enough.

“Health is a choice” means to give back hope to people that risked to lose it.

In my FREE e-book “DNA Is Not Your Destiny” I explain just that: I want you to know that you are not victim of your genes. You are the master of your destiny.

So now, it’s your choice. Make a decision. Take the challenge. It’s all on you.

How To Improve Your Resilience And Take Back Control Of Your Life After Failure

How To Improve Your Resilience And Take Back Control Of Your Life After Failure is republished from Personal Life Coach Fabrizio Fusco

We should think of our life as an infinite journey without destination.

You take steps in one direction. Or another. Or another.

Sometimes you get lost along the way and fall down. Then you start again.

However, it may also happen that you fall down and you feel like you don’t have the strength to get back up.

The reason why you’re not doing well in life

If I told you to create a list of reasons why you’re not doing good, how would this list look like?

Probably you would mention, the economic crisis, the taxes, the government, a corrupted society, your parents or friends that don’t support your vision, the weather, and so on.

They are all good reasons, are they?

But, what if I told you, you got it all wrong?

Let me tell this: society steals our dreams because we allow it, because we face the world as victims, not as warriors.

Now, change the rules. Don’t focus on others, focus on yourself.

Don’t focus on the problem, focus on the solution. It’s not what happens; it's how you react to what happens that changes everything.

So, now, consider this shift: remove everything from your list and put on it only one thing: Yourself. That’s right it’s all on you.

“Some failure in life is inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all—in which case, you fail by default.” – J. K. Rowling

“If you want something you've never had you must be willing to do something you've never done.” – Thomas Jefferson

“You can choose courage or you can choose comfort. You cannot have both. You get from this life what you have the courage to ask for.” -- Brenè Brown

Awake to the truth that reality is an illusion

As we know, our brain has the ability to represent what happens in the world. However, this internal representation isn’t precisely what happens because of the filtering and personalization of the brain.

We develop beliefs; in other words, something we accept as true.

Everyone creates its own reality.

What is reality then? What is the truth?

The Toltec civilization used to say that everything is an illusion. Everyone creates their own mental version of the world as if everyone was dreaming a different dream.

Nothing is true, only love is true. The rest is a creation of the mind and the ego.

Now, imagine you could awake and find out that everything you believed to be true about life and the world is actually only a creation of the human mind (a dream as the Toltec affirmed).

You discover that you were “domesticated”, you were taught the dream of your life by the people that were there ahead of you.

So, now that you’re aware of this process you can break free of the domestication. You can begin to dream your own dream, focusing your attention on discovering what YOU believe to be true.

how to improve resilience in live | Fabrizio Fusco | take your life back

How to improve your resilience and take back control of your life

1. Look inside of you

Think of an orange. When you squeeze it orange juice comes out. Why? Because that’s what is inside the orange.

Now take a look at yourself. When life squeezes you what comes out? Anger, hatred, depression… Why?

We say people or situations made us feel that way, it’s all because of them.

But actually, just like the orange, those feelings came out because they were already inside of you.

If you want to stop suffering because of negative feelings, you have to look inside of you and change your perspective.

Now, when life squeezes you, the only things that come out are understanding and love.

2. Focus on what you can control

There are a lot of things in life that you can’t control. So, just let them go. You are not going to change them.

One thing you can certainly control: yourself.

What do you think it’s easier? Changing 1000 things in the external world or changing just yourself?

Consider this example from Jim Rohn:

There are two salesmen and a storm outside.

The 1st salesman says:
Wow what a storm. With weather like this they can’t expect us to go out and make sales. He stays home.

The 2nd salesman says:
WOW. What a storm. With weather like this what a great day to go out and make sales! Everyone will be home... Including the other salesmen.

3. Understand your “Why”

Every single person on the planet knows what they do. Some know how they do it. But very few people know why they do it.

And by why I don’t mean making money. That’s a result.

By why I mean what’s their purpose, their cause.

Life will knock you down many times. That’s when people give up.

But you have to let reason get you back up. If you have clarity of values, you still understand why you are there.

If you know your purpose, if you know why you’re doing it then you’ll be able to pick yourself up every single day.

4. Improve your resilience

If you want to improve and get better in life, then failure is inevitable.

When you fail try again and again and again.

Work on improving your resilience.

Resilience is that ineffable quality that allows you to come back stronger than ever after a failure.

All that matters is that you are going to get up. It matters how you’re going to finish. Are you going to finish strong?

Take back control of your life

It’s not what happens that determines the quality of your life. And that’s because what happens, happens to about everybody. It’s no different. Rather it’s how you react that changes everything.

In my FREE e-book "Love your life" I explain just that: how to get out of a negative spiral and start living a life that honors who you are.

So, now it’s your choice. It’s all on you. What are you gonna do?

Why You’re Feeling Trapped And How To Live An Authentic Life To Personal Freedom

Find more on: UK Life and Health Coach Fabrizio Fusco

What really is freedom?

No matter in what country you live in, most people feel trapped in a prison that they build with their own hands.

But why is that the case?

It all starts from childhood

The history of parenting

Over the centuries our idea of how to raise children has changed drastically.

In medieval times corporal punishment was considered normal and commonplace. Children weren’t seen as pure; they were considered evil. Parents used to physically abuse of their children to grant them salvation and goodness.

It took until the late 1600s to introduce a new style of parenting: the punish and reward style. Instead of continued corporal punishment, children were punished only when they behaved badly and rewarded with approval and affection when they were good.

Today, in the early 2000s not much has changed even though corporal punishment began to come out of favor in the western world in the late 1900s.

It’s easy to look at medieval ages and say that back then we were in the

dark age of parenting.

The problem is, we still are.

Today we’re doing the same kind of damage on an emotional level as we did on a physical level.

Why we lost our freedom and authenticity

Often parents put children in a track already tracked. Because they love them and they want them to be safe.

Children never have the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them.

If their emotions are not validated they learn that their feelings are wrong and to suppress them.

They start to choose what they are supposed to choose, what their parents say is “right”.

In order to adapt to the choices of their parents they created a false self… A mask.

That’s why we lose our authenticity and with it our freedom.

We become insecure, isolated, intimidated, powerless, afraid to decide for ourselves, trapped in a prison that we build with our own hands.

In a single word: Frozen. Without even knowing what we want from our life, from ourselves.

The pain becomes so big that we start covering it by eating junk food, drinking alcohol or developing other addictions.

Until we hit rock bottom.

And finally decide to change.

This is the story of many people. And yes, it is my story as well.

But how do we escape our own prison?

“The cost of shaping ourselves to the desires, preferences, and expectations of others, is losing ourselves; and when we lose ourselves we become frozen without direction, unable to make our own choices.”-- Teal Swan

“Whatever happens around you, don’t take it personally… Nothing other people do is because of you. It is because of themselves.” -- Don Miguel Ruiz

“To be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”-- Nelson Mandela

get personal freedom | Fabrizio Fusco | living authentically

The Path Towards Personal Freedom

The first step toward personal freedom is being aware of where you are now.

It also takes patience because, how we have seen, it’s the result of many years of “domestication”.

As Don Miguel Ruiz explains, the following are the four pillars of personal freedom.

1.Use your words wisely

Words are not just a sound or a written symbol. They are a force. They have power.

With words you express yourself, communicate, think and, as a consequence, create the events of your life.

Depending how you use your words, they can set you free or enslave you.

Words are not only said out loud but also kept inside. Be honest with yourself. Don’t use them against yourself or against others.

Since we are one, when we attack someone else we are deepening our own wounds.

Always use the power of your words in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t take things personally

Imagine you speak with the same person in two different situations.

In the first scenario the person had an awesome day, plenty of sleep, a fulfilling job, nothing to worry about.

How do you think that person will treat us? Pretty well, eh?

Now, same person but different scenario. This time, she didn’t sleep well, lost her job, got in car accident and every annoying situation happened.

How do you think she is going to treat us this time? Probably very differently from first scenario.

Nothing about us changed in both scenarios but we have been treated in different ways. That’s why if we take things personally we’re in trouble.

We should never base our opinion of ourselves on how other people treat us. It’s not about us, it’s about them.

3. Don’t make assumptions

We always tend to make assumptions about what others do or think.

Then we blame others based on our assumptions.

But actually we misunderstand, take it personally and create a big drama for nothing.

The way to stop making assumptions is to start asking questions.

We have to make sure that the communication is clear.

We have to have the courage to ask questions until we are as clear as you can be.

4. Always do your best

There is one last pillar and it’s the one that keeps the other three habits alive when times are tough.

Always do your best with the 3 points before.

Circumstances will change so your best will sometimes be extraordinary and other times not so good.Don’t beat yourself up but be honest with yourself.

Always make sure that what you are doing is not less than what you’re capable of doing.

The path to freedom starts within you

Freedom is the result of following the four pillars again and again. It’s a practice.

Excellence, is not an act, it’s a practice.

And a new beginning starts within us, if we truly want it.

We have to learn to love ourselves first. Because if we are incapable of finding love in ourselves, it is pointless to search elsewhere.

In my FREE e-book "Love your life" I explain just that: how to love yourself once again. Because everything starts within and self-love is the root from which everything grows.

What Is Love And How To Be Happy In A Long Lasting Romantic Relationship

Read more on: http://fabriziofusco.com/

Refusing to love for fear of suffering is like refusing to live in fear of dying. – Jim Morrison

Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit. – Khalil Gibran

If we are incapable of finding love in ourselves, it is pointless to search elsewhere. – Robert Smith

There’s a legend that says that a long time ago, on an Hawaiian island, an unusual custom was observed.

Johnny Lingo had come to bargain for a wife. A dowry was paid to the daughter’s father.

The regular rate was three cows for a wife. If the girl was very special, four cows would be given.

Someone tells an unconfirmed story that a young lady a very long time ago had gone for the amazing sum of five cows.

The girl of little value, sullen, undesirable

A father had two daughters: one was
very nice, the other was considered by
her neighbors, and even by her father, to
be of little value, sullen, ugly and undesirable.

Old Dad had decided that he only expected to receive one or two cows for the little value daughter.

The truth is Old Dad considered her daughter only a burden that he had to feed so he was even willing to let her go for no cows at all.

Johnny Lingo was the richest man on the island. One day he came to visit this little family. No doubts he would choose the pretty girl.

Everyone was stunned when, instead, he called on the ugly daughter. Old Dad was overjoyed. He knew Johnny was a wealthy and generous man so he expected to receive at least the standard sum of three cows.

Now imagine the surprise when Johnny brought ten cows. Old Dad couldn’t believe it! He made quickly perform the ceremony, before the guy could change his mind.

The amazing change

Johnny endured some derision; however, they left the island and they took a honeymoon.

Two years later, they came back.

People were astonished. The girl, Mahana, had changed dramatically and nobody recognized her at first.

She wasn’t a shy and homely girl anymore.

She was now a beautiful, confident and happy young lady; her charm was so great, that people started to think Johnny had really gotten a bargain.

People asked: “How can be she so different?”

Johnny replied:

“Think about how it must make a girl feel to know she is worth only one cow.

Before she believed she was worth nothing. As a result, that’s the value she projected.

Now, she knows she is worth more than any other woman in the islands. It shows, doesn’t it?”

tips for love relationship | Fabrizio Fusco | advice on love and relationships

Bottom line is: if you want to have a long lasting romantic relationship and take it to the next level follow the these steps...

1. Make your partner feel important

Many things can change a person. There are things that happen on the inside and things that happen on the outside.

However, what matters most is how she views herself. If you make her believe she is worth nothing that’s the value she projects.

On the other hand, if she believes she’s worth enough, life will reflect this belief.

In short, think about the value you put on people because people respond according to the value you place on them.

2. Commit towards the same vision of life

You have
to trust that the other person is as committed as you are to the vision for your lives together.

You have to feel the same dream. You have to feel the support of a person that says: “I am as committed as you are towards this vision of life”.

Build common goals or projects to achieve together. It may be having children, building a home, the next holidays, starting a business together.

Also accept your partner without judging. In a family you feel accepted, protected, you feel a sense of belonging. You don’t feel judged but only loved.

3. Learn to love yourself first

All relationships are, first of all, a relationship with ourselves.

Our relationships reflect our conscious
and subconscious mind.

So the most important question to ask ourselves
when something is not going the way
we would like is: “What thoughts and
beliefs are present in me that are making me a match to this unwanted situation?”

If you heal any aspect of yourself,
any emotional wound and grow into a complete, whole version of yourself every relationship is easier.

The reason is that
now you feel inner peace and everything grows from what you hold inside of you.

4. Don’t hold yourself back

As I just said, if you grow into the whole version of yourself every relationship is easier.

The truth is, however, that nobody is truly
a whole, complete version of himself. Not
even the most enlightened spiritual teachers of the past as Jesus, Buddha, etc.

So, if you close everybody out of your life,no matter what you achieve, you are not going to feel completely fulfilled.

You need someone to truly love and support each other.

You are going to see sides of you that you didn’t know. That’s when you’re really going to grow and become more whole.

Love expands from within

It is now clear how important it is to love ourselves and be confident. Because if we are incapable of finding love in ourselves, it is pointless to search elsewhere.

This concept doesn’t apply only to romantic love. It applies to every relationship. It also applies to parenting our children. Because self-love is the root from which everything grows.

In my FREE e-book "Love your life "I explain just that: how to love yourself once again. Because everything starts within.

How To Make Yourself Happy And Improve Your Relationships

Find more on: The health and life coach Fabrizio Fusco

It’s easy to blame other people for what’s going wrong in our life.

It’s the easiest thing to do.

But we need to start to take a deep look inside ourselves. And take responsibility for our choices.

Be part of the solution

We always point our finger against others when something is not the way we want it to be. We watch the world crumble before our eyes and we always think that others are the problem.

Actually we contribute to the problem thinking that it’s not our responsibility to resolve it. It was there before us, after all.

It may be true; we didn’t cause all the problems.

But what if we held ourselves responsible and say “I’m better than that, I can fix it myself”?

Instead we don’t think that it’s our problem because we fail to understand that if we are contributing to the problem then we are part of the problem.

So if you don’t want to be part of the problem then always focus on being part of the solution.

You decide between being part of the problem or part of the solution in every single moment of your life, in every single decision you face.

So choose wisely: be part of the solution. Because the world needs solutions, not further problems.

“Building trust requires no more than telling the truth, not telling people what they want to hear.”– Simon Sinek

“Listen with the intent to understand, not the intent to reply.”–Stephen Covey

“If you hire people just because they can do a job, they’ll work for your money. But if you hire people who believe what you believe, they’ll work for you with blood and sweat and tears.”– Simon Sinek

Have faith in the external world

Too many times we don’t have faith in other people, we don’t have faith in the external world.

We always seek independence… But our true nature is to be interdependent. This means to truly trust others, it means to become One.

To build something awesome you need people. People like you. People like me.You have to place faith in other people.

You have to convince them that what you’re talking about matters. You have to involve them in a project bigger than themselves.

Because if you know your purpose, if you know why you’re doing it, you will be motivated every single day. And people will give you, naturally and with enthusiasm, great amount of their time, energy and effort.

Here are three things you can do to improve happiness, relationships and productivity:

1. Be a Leader

Leaders don’t give orders, they give inspiration. They teach through example.

You don’t need to have a business to be a leader. You can be a leader in every relationship: friends, children, family.

Great leaders develop people. They equip people to be successful. They discover what other people are good at. They build something worth fighting for.

There’s one single question you can ask yourself to understand if you are a true leader:

“If my position, title or formal authority were removed, would people that I’m leading still gladly follow me?”

If the answer is yes, then you have earned the respect of the people you lead.

2. Seek interdependence

People always seek independence; this is only beneficial to move from a feeling of powerlessness to a feeling of empowerment.

But soon it becomes detrimental because our true nature is to be interdependent.

Interdependent people are independent people that work together to create something beyond what they can do on their own. They use complementary talents to create something beyond themselves.

We cannot exist as individuals; we live in a house that someone else built, we walk on streets that someone else built, we eat food that someone else gathers.

We either thrive as One or we suffer as individuals.

Every time we attack someone, we are deepening our own wounds. Our job is not to attack others, but rather to stimulate the natural forces of healing.

3. Listen before you speak

You should listen with the intent to understand. Not with the intent to reply. Seek first to understand then to be understood.

We have different perspectives that may be both right. This happens because, our brain, represent reality through filtering and personalization.

For this reason, practice empathic listening.

Try to see the world through the eyes of the other person. And you come to realize that what they say make sense from their perspective.Even if you don’t agree.

A new beginning starts within you

It may be true; this world is not how we want it to be.

But we are not bad. We are wounded. And a new beginning starts within us, if we truly want it.

We have to learn tolove ourselves first. Because if we are incapable of finding love in ourselves, it is pointless to search elsewhere.

In my FREE e-book “Love your life” I explain just that: how to love yourself once again. Because everything starts within and self-love is the root form which everything grows.

How To Heal Your Body By Reconnecting With Your Natural Intelligence

Find more on: http://www.fabriziofusco.com

People block their intuitions, their truth, the natural energy flowing.

They get in the way.

They get in their own way.

Otherwise life flows naturally and healing occurs naturally on every level because the capacity for self-correction is built into the Universe.

A natural intelligence guides our lives

Marianne Williamson, in her lectures, explains how, from a metaphysical point of view, the Universe is perfectly self-organizing and self-correcting.

She talks about how an embryo grows into a baby. We have an egg and a sperm. And then all of a sudden, something miraculous occurs: a brain is formed, skin is formed, blood is formed.

The embryo becomes the baby.

There’s a natural intelligence that guides the process.

We can absolutely affirm that the Universe is already programmed to organize itself.

Nature organizes itself always in the direction that allows life to survive and thrive.

It’s not just that, the Universe is also self-correcting.

This means that, if something harmful to life happens, it can always return to its natural state.

For example, we fall and we scratch our knee. As we already know the wound heals itself.

Science may explain the mechanisms by which these things occur but cannot explain the mystery behind the fact that they occur in the first place.

In medicine it is understood that what we are trying to do is mimicking nature, the perfection of which cannot possibly be matched by the human mind. – Marianne Williamson

When your life falls apart, you either grow or you grow a tumor. I decided to grow. – Lissa Rankin, MD

Why we are disconnected from our natural intelligence

Self-organization and self-correction don’t happen just in the physical world; they happen on every level; they happen on a conscious or spiritual level too.

So, Marianne Williamson explains, ‘we can naturally get a job, we can naturally create money and we can naturally produce an outer prosperity that reflects the prosperity in our hearts. We are guided by a wisdom we might not have even known we had.’

But there’s a problem.

Our ego gets in our own way. And so, the difference from human beings and a bud is that “We can say no”. In nature there doesn’t seem to be a choice but we are free beings, we can think, we can decide, we can say:

  • I let this natural intelligence use me to bring forward that which is loving, that which is good, serving, thriving;
  • Or we can say: “No, I don’t want to”.

So from a metaphysical prospective the consciousness of the human race has become malignant.

We are doing our own thing.

The only way to heal ourselves and the world is to reconnect to our natural intelligence finding within ourselves an innocence that is the truth of who we are. To truly learn how to love your life!

Our body can heal itself. We just have to know how. Follow the next points to get started.

1. Physical Detox

Natural healing is all about cleaning up
and detoxifying the body in order to
create the right environment for it to
thrive.

Healing requires time because
of the toxins, parasites and damages to
our cells accumulated in the entire life.

However, it’s just amazing how we ruin our body for a lifetime and then how it can heal completely in just a couple of years.

2. Emotional Detox

It’s not just about food and supplements.

Before the body can heal, we have to heal on a spiritual level as well.

We have to heal our mind and spirit.

We have to find inner peace.

From an energetic perspective, illness is a toxicity crisis. When we suppress our emotions, dislike or reject ourselves, negative energy collects in our body and is not released.

A buildup of low vibrational energy leads to an impaired immune system and filter organs become clogged. This environment becomes perfect for bacteria and viruses to thrive.

3. Live free from society’s expectations

If we try to please everyone we’ll end up pleasing no one. Least of all ourselves.

We are going to fail in our life if we live up to society’s expectations because we live someone else’s life, we don’t live for ourselves, for our projects, our desires.

In the long term this isn’t sustainable and is detrimental for our energy, body and relationships.

So, at that point, we come to the realization that we are damaging not only ourselves but other people as well because of the very person we have become.

Reclaim your health

The body heals itself.

Now you know that.

But knowing that it’s not enough.

You have to take action.

So now, starting tomorrow, what are you going to do that will make a change in your life direction?

Because if you don’t start tomorrow doing something that will make a difference, guess what... It’s going to be the same.

“Health is a choice” means to give back hope to people that risked to lose it.

In my FREE e-book “The Only Answer To Chronic Diseases” I explain just that: I want you to know that you are not victim of your genes. You are the master of your destiny.

So now, it’s your choice. Make a decision. Take the challenge. It’s all on you.

This article first appeared on The 3 Elements Of Health To Heal Your Body Of Chronic Inflammatory Diseases | Fabrizio Fusco.

In a world where chronic diseases are becoming epidemic it’s clear that something is wrong with the way our society forces us to live.
Today’s stress (nutritional, emotional, environmental) is higher than it has ever been.
The statistics that follow, about U.S. people, are creepy to say the least:
  • 1 out of 2 children will have diabetes in their life
  • 1 out of 3 adults will have Type II diabetes in their life
  • 1 out of 3 people will have cancer in their life
  • 1 out of 5 people will have an autoimmune disease in their life

Why we are losing our battle against chronic diseases

We have been made believe that Medical Doctors know what’s best for us. That’s not the way it is. They have been trained only in one small piece of medical science known as allopathic reductionism.
Their intent is to keep the disease process under control with prescription drugs, not to cure.
The fact is that medical science includes other kinds of medicine too: naturopathic, chiropractic, homeopathic, osteopathic, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and so on.
So this begs the question: why on earth we only hear about allopathic reductionism?
Naturopath Peter Glidden explains that, sadly, it’s an economic reason. Pharmaceuticals companies, with the support of the government, created a monopoly since the 1920s.
Other kinds of medicine are not recognized, the insurance pays only for MD directed medicine, the media talk only about MD directed medicine and so on.
Bottom line is:
We don’t know there is another way, we don’t know there are alternatives.
I once worked as a writer for a big New York ad agency. Our boss used to tell us: Invent a disease. Come up with the disease, he said, and we can sell the cure. Attention Deficit Disorder, Seasonal Affect Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder. These aren’t diseases, they’re marketing ploys. Doctors didn’t discover them, copywriters did. Marketing departments did. Drug companies did. – Steven Pressfield
Every day of being a medical doctor was chipping away at my integrity. – Lissa Rankin, MD

We are masters of our own destiny

It’s becoming evident that western traditional medicine is not the solution to our problems.
In fact, prescription drugs and the modern lifestyle never have been the solution.
We have to analyze the root cause of the diseases; the “whole person” should be focused on, not just the disease itself.
We need a different way of thinking; we need something that the mainstream media are hiding to us.
While we can’t change our DNA, we can alter how it expresses itself.
External signals like nutrition, environment in which we live, thoughts, emotions, can influence regulatory proteins that determine how and even whether DNA gets expressed in certain ways.
In other words, we are not victims of our genes. We are masters of our own destiny.
In my experience there are three elements that need to be considered: nutrition (or in a wider sense biochemistry), emotional stress and physical shape; that’s what natural medicine is all about.

1. Nutrition / Biochemistry

Let the food you eat slowly kill you or let it slowly heal you.
You can choose, you have control over the food choices you makeWhat we put in our body really matters.
Don’t be fooled to think that junk food is not going to affect your health that much. What we eat alters the chemistry of our body either positively or negatively.
Artificially modifying the chemistry with a prescription drug will only disrupt the biochemistry even more feeding the disease.
We are not deficient in a prescription drug, we are deficient in vitamins and minerals.
Though the symptoms are covered and we are “happy”. That’s the crazy world we live in!

2. Emotional Stress

Nowadays mental stress is a huge problem, it’s probably the major body breaker.
Our life is completely out of balance, we live in constant worries and anxiety, we doubt ourselves.
This might not be visible from the outside but it wears down ourselves from the inside.
Fear is the emotion that leads us. And when fear controls us there’s no space for love.
Clearly the body is not going to sustain vitality in that condition: start accepting yourself for just being you; let go of your fears and make space for love.

3. Structure / Physical exercise

A correct structure, or physical shape, is necessary for the body to function properly.
Think of a squared tire: it won’t roll.
Physical exercise is a great way to be fit: it lowers the weight, improves the shape and fitness by strengthening muscles and bones, it regulates the glucose metabolism, releases endorphin that make you feel happy and helps regulate sleep.

Health is a choice

If you harmonize the 3 element listed above, you’ll thrive.
And if you are sick you’ll heal from any chronic disease.
That’s the message of hope I want to spread.
“Health is a choice” means to give back hope to people that risked to lose it.
In my FREE e-book “DNA Is Not Your Destiny” I explain just that: I want you to know that you are not victim of your genes. You are the master of your destiny.
So now, it’s your choice. Make a decision. Take the challengeIt’s all on you.

Study: ADHD Drugs Fail to Help Kids Complete Homework

By Dr. Mercola

Drugs prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are among the most controversial on the market. Such drugs are the most common psychotropic drugs used by children (tied for first place with antidepressants),1 yet they have questionable benefits and serious risks.

Medicating children with ADHD is in itself controversial, especially because there is no laboratory test or objective method to determine which children have ADHD.

Some may be labeled as such by parents or teachers, and even those diagnosed by a mental health professional may be displaying symptoms that could be attributed to other causes.

Many of the symptoms, such as being easily distracted, squirming and fidgeting, are seen in virtually all children at some point or another and, should they become problematic, may be better dealt with via lifestyle changes and psychotherapy than powerful stimulant drugs.

Any parent considering drug treatment for a child with ADHD must carefully weigh the benefits versus the risks, and new research suggests the purported benefits do not extend to improvements in school.

ADHD Drugs Don't Help Kids Get Better Grades

A major concern of parents of children with ADHD is how it might affect their schoolwork. Worried that their child may fall behind other students or struggle with poor grades, some parents resort to drug treatment, believing it will help. Some drug companies even advertise their treatments as helping to improve homework time.

“Evidence indicates that children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) experience acute and prolonged academic impairment and underachievement including marked difficulty with completing homework,” researchers wrote in a new study.2

It's the first to examine the effects of drug versus behavioral treatment on homework performance in children with ADHD.

Seventy-five children between the ages of 5 and 12 participated. One group was assigned to receive either a stimulant drug or a placebo for three weeks, then switched. Another group received behavioral therapy.

The drug treatment led to no significant improvements in homework completion or accuracy compared to placebo. The behavioral therapy, however, led to children finishing up to 13 percent more homework problems and increased accuracy by 8 percent.

This homework boost could be the difference between a child receiving a passing “C” grade or failing a class, the researchers noted, adding:3

Behavioral treatment focused on homework problems results in clear benefits for children's homework completion and accuracy (the difference between passing and failing, on average), whereas long-acting stimulant medication resulted in limited and largely nonsignificant acute effects on homework performance.”

Expectations of Benefit From ADHD Drugs Are 'Greater Than They Should Be'

Many people assume that giving a child with ADHD drug treatment will make the symptoms disappear, but research reveals such expectations may be unrealistic.

Research published in The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews found the drug methylphenidate (brand names Ritalin, Concerta, Medikinet and Equasym) may lead to modest improvements in symptoms, general behavior and quality of life.4

However, the modest benefit was based on poor-quality studies, leading the researchers to caution against using the drug without careful consideration. Study author Morris Zwi, a clinician and consultant for child and adolescent psychiatry, said:5

"Our expectations of this treatment are probably greater than they should be … Whilst our review shows some evidence of benefit, we should bear in mind that this finding was based on very low-quality evidence. What we still need are large, well-conducted trials to clarify the risks versus the benefits."

Side Effects of ADHD Drugs: Sleep Problems and More

The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews study also found methylphenidate is associated with an increased risk of sleep problems and appetite loss.

Overall, those taking methylphenidate had a 29 percent increased risk of experiencing a non-serious adverse event, the most common of which were sleep problems and decreased appetite.

Among children taking the drug, the risks were especially pronounced. Compared to the control group, children taking methylphenidate had a 60 percent greater risk for trouble sleeping/sleep problems and a 266 percent greater risk for decreased appetite.

A separate study published in Pediatrics also found that stimulant medications such as Ritalin may harm children's sleep.6

Although the drugs have stimulant effects, they may have a calming effect on children with ADHD, and some have suggested the drugs may improve sleep by reducing bedtime-resistant behaviors.

However, this research, which reviewed nine individual studies, found that in general children taking stimulant drugs:

  • Took longer to fall asleep than others (with the time lengthening as the dose increased)

  • Had shorter sleep duration

  • Had worse sleep efficiency, which is the ratio of time spent asleep to the time spent in bed

The effect is particularly troublesome because lack of sleep makes ADHD symptoms worse, with researchers noting, “sleep adverse effects could undermine the benefits of stimulant medications in some cases.”7

Why Is ADHD on the Rise?

Approximately 11 percent of U.S. children between the ages of 4 and 17 years (6.4 million) have been diagnosed with ADHD,8 and no one really knows what's causing this condition. Many factors are likely involved, including poor nutrition and environmental toxins.

Children with higher levels of the endocrine-disrupting chemical bisphenol-A (BPA), for instance, are more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD.9

Pesticide exposure, including pyrethroids,10 has also been linked to ADHD. Children exposed to higher levels of organophosphate pesticides may have a twofold to threefold increased risk of being diagnosed with ADHD.11 Exposure to tobacco smoke in utero is also associated with ADHD.12

Nutritionally speaking, a number of factors have been linked to ADHD and/or similar behavioral problems in children. One study even suggested that eating an unhealthy diet during pregnancy may increase ADHD symptoms in youth.13 In addition:

  • Drinking sugar-sweetened beverages like soda is associated with ADHD14

  • Gluten sensitivity may be common in children with ADHD. According to a 2011 study, celiac disease is "markedly overrepresented among patients presenting with ADHD,"15 and a gluten-free diet has been shown to significantly improve behavior in kids.
  • Artificial food coloring and other food additives, such as preservatives, are associated with increased hyperactivity in children16

Exercise May Improve Schoolwork and Other Symptoms in Children With ADHD

While the featured study found no benefit to homework among children taking drugs to treat ADHD, there are other options, namely exercise.

Research published in the journal Pediatrics found that kids who engaged in a regular physical activity program had an improvement in executive control, which is the ability to maintain focus, working memory and cognitive flexibility (or switching between tasks).17

Executive functioning is often impaired in children with ADHD, which means exercise may directly help to improve symptoms. Further, exercise is well known to boost test scores and academic performance in children, and this association is particularly strong among kids with ADHD.

One study found, for instance, that a before- and after-school physical activity program reduced inattention and moodiness among young children at risk of ADHD, as well as improved math and reading test scores.18 Other research revealed that 26 minutes of physical activity each day helped to significantly reduce ADHD symptoms in grade-schoolers.19

In a TED talk from 2012, John Ratey, an associate professor of psychiatry at Harvard, suggested that exercise be viewed as medication for ADHD, as it triggers your brain to release dopamine and serotonin, which improve mood and boost cognitive performance. You can view that talk below.

Natural Methods to Help Overcome ADHD-Like Symptoms

If your child struggles with behavioral difficulties or other ADHD-like symptoms, behavioral therapy may help. However, whether he or she has been diagnosed with ADHD or not, I strongly recommend addressing the following factors in addition to such therapy:

Too much sugar. High-sugar foods and starchy carbohydrates lead to excessive insulin release, which can cause falling blood sugar levels, or hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia, in turn, causes your brain to secrete glutamate in levels that can cause agitation, depression, anger, anxiety and panic attacks.

Besides that, sugar promotes chronic inflammation in your body, and many studies have demonstrated the connection between a high-sugar diet and worsened mental health.

An unhealthy gut. As explained by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, a medical doctor with a postgraduate degree in neurology, toxicity in your gut can flow throughout your body and into your brain, where it can cause symptoms of autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, depression, schizophrenia and other mental disorders.

Reducing gut inflammation is imperative when addressing mental health issues, so optimizing your child's gut flora is a critical step.

This includes not only avoiding processed, refined foods but also eating traditionally fermented foods. Fermented vegetables are excellent, although many kids enjoy fermented dairy products like kefir, especially if you blend them into healthy smoothies.

If you cannot get your child to eat fermented foods on a regular basis, a high-quality probiotic supplement may be highly beneficial in correcting abnormal gut flora that may contribute to brain dysfunction and behavioral issues.

Animal-sourced omega-3 deficiency. Research has shown that kids low in omega-3 fats are significantly more likely to be hyperactive, struggle with learning disorders and display behavioral problems. Omega-3 deficiencies have also been tied to dyslexia, violence and depression. A clinical study published in 2007 examined the effects of krill oil on adults diagnosed with ADHD.20

In that study, patients improved their ability to concentrate by an average of over 60 percent after taking a daily 500-milligram (mg) dose of krill oil for six months. They also reported a 50 percent improvement in planning skills and a close to 49 percent improvement in social skills.

Food additives and GMO ingredients. A number of food additives are thought to worsen ADHD, and many have subsequently been banned in Europe. Potential culprits to avoid include Blue #1 and #2 food coloring; Green #3; Orange B; Red #3 and #40; Yellow #5 and #6; and sodium benzoate, a preservative.

Additional Factors to Help Relieve ADHD Symptoms

Along with addressing your child's nutrition and activity levels, I also recommend implementing the following strategies:

  • Clear your house of dangerous pesticides and other synthetic chemicals.

  • EMF. Limit exposure to radiofrequency microwave radiation, cell and portable phones and electro-pollution. This is especially true for the sleeping environment where rest and repair occurs. It should be as electrically neutral as possible.

  • Avoid commercial washing detergents and cleaning products used on clothes and around your home and replace them with naturally derived cleaning products free of added perfumes and softeners.

  • Spend more time in nature. Researchers have found that exposing ADHD children to nature is an affordable, healthy way of controlling symptoms.

  • Investigate sensory therapy and emotional wellness tools. Energy psychology tools such as the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) may help improve emotional coping and healing.
